Project Management Before Dinner

Project Management

What's a project? It's a fair question, and the answer for a lot of organizations is "everything". So the formal definition (with emphasis added) is ...

"A project is a temporary endeavor designed to produce a unique product, service or result with a defined beginning and end (usually time-constrained, and often constrained by funding or staffing) undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial change or added value" (source)

As the process of last resort, project management is often the answer to every type of work performed within the organization. While this is not ideal, it should at least place emphasis on how to better manage projets.
